Perfect balance of most useful features. I have enjoyed Garmin quality products in the past, so when looking for a new smartwatch, I compared Garmin’s innovative features with other comparable models. This Garmin Vívoactive 5 was exactly what I needed at an affordable price. Some of the features I most appreciate are as follows: * Battery lasts for several days * Watch is sleek and stylish * I love that I can choose a watch face that is most conducive to my needs * The text and data are bright, colorful, and easy to read * Garmin has a great phone app to track my health and fitness data * I find the Sleep Score and Sleep Coach very helpful * The Body Battery, Stress, and Heart Rate monitors are beneficial * It is ‘drag and drop’ easy to customize * The Garmin quality and reliability is unmatched

Useful operating system and great display. I bought this watch because it monitors heart rate variability (HRV), which provides an overall indication of your health. I appreciate the body battery measurement, which indicates your current energy level. The operating system is fantastic once you spend some time with the watch; it’s not cluttered like the Apple Watch I’ve owned. I prefer this watch to the Apple Watch I own. The size of this watch is ideal, and it doesn’t bother me while sleeping.

Definitely worth it, lots of features to use. I decided to order a Garmin Vivoactive 5 when my Fitbit Versa expired on me in Nov.2024. It took a couple of weeks for it to arrive, mainly due to the holiday season, but it has been worth it. The battery life on it is much longer than what I previously had on Fitbit, and there are a lot of features available. It will take a while to familiarize yourself with so many features, but once you do they will be worth it. If you use it to monitor your workouts, as I do, there are many categories of workouts that it will evaluate, running, walking, strength workouts, biking, cardio, etc. You get great data on your sleep patterns, morning reports, weather updates, etc. What I enjoy is that when you download the Garmin app on your phone you can use your data from Garmin to enter into competitions with other Garmin members. Fitbit, once bought out by Google, began to eliminate a lot of the groups and competitions you could be involved in, so Garmin was a breath of fresh air in this. The band on the watch feels great and the watch looks stylish. I am sure that there are a ton more features out there that I have not even gotten to yet, but my impressions on a Garmin smartwatch is that they are definitely worth the money if you enjoy using a smartwatch daily.
